On the west coast of the south island a couple glaciers from the alps make it down close to sea level so for a day we took a guided glacier trek in the middle of one of these glaciers. Here’s various pics of the adventure.

I see you guys did your part to wear out the glaciers...
blake, you aren't supposed to write your name into the glacier!
The glacier ice is blue so, yes, there was green ice seen that day.
