Finally some time to post something at a decent internet cafe. We've been travelling up the east coast north of Aukland hitting most of the idyllic beach communities. At this point we've mostly just been driving and taking in a few hikes.
Right now we're in the city of Whangerei. The beach picture is in Aukland and the other one is on a trail a few hours north of Aukland. As you can see, the scenery kind of sucks here. Sorry, no funny stories other than they call coolers here "chilly bins". Wacky kiwis.
